Say Hello to the Neo-McGovernites
I almost ignored anti-war Ned Lamont’s win over pro-war Joe Lieberman in the Connecticut primary last night until I got a load of two of Lamont’s cadre of celebrants. Directly behind a smiling Lamont were Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton – two of the most divisive, opportunistic, and race-baiting individuals that contemporary politics has spawned. Somewhere in the distance, I could almost hear the faint whisper of Jackson’s “Hymietown” or Sharpton’s fixation on New York “diamond merchants.”

Syria Working Very Hard to Re-Arm Hezbollah
Syria is working very hard to re-arm Hezbollah even since the Israelis have bombed the Beirut International Airport to prevent air-cargo planes from unloading more rockets and weapons. The Israelis have taken out all the major highways and bridges that go from Syria to Beirut and yet Syria continues to rearm Hezbollah with weapons.

Arithmetic and General Motors; Just Too Many Zeros
CEO Waggoner eagerly tells anyone who will listen (because that's where he wants relief) that the health-care obligation comes to about $1,550 per vehicle. The pension and retirement benefit numbers are not so easily found, but if they're similar (and recent employee-buyouts would push them in that direction) it doesn't take a wizard to see that $3,000 or so in non-manufacturing costs per vehicle are damned hard to hide in small-car prices.

Why Hezbollah Started the War Now
There were growing signals for sometime that America wants Israel to attack Iran nuclear installation after Iran refused to stop its Uranium enriching program. Secondly the pressure on Iran is growing from international community especially European Union and sanctions were looming large.

Is Syria Ready to Attack Israel?
Hezbollah seems to be running out of rockets and Russian Made missile launchers as Israel completely dominates the air during this Hezbollah-Israeli scuffle in Lebanon. Russian Made rocket launchers, Chinese radar guided missiles, Iranian missile advisors all in the hands of Hezbollah?

Islamic Militancy -- Seed for the Next Dark Ages
People who have their wits usually try to learn from their past mistakes. Whole nations work to avoid the pitfalls of yore. But will the entire globe learn from its past dark history. Sadly, it doesn't look that way.

The Himalayas Hide More Than Sasquatch
THE beautiful pictures of the mountains are the only beautiful things there. THE rest is all
closet politics. VERY sad. IT is actually Buddism vs Communism vs Autocracy. The infrequent
use of the word Democracy is for show.

Nation Building — We are More Careful With Consumer Brands
It is simply a fact of life that if the brand (or Country) does not seek to find synergy with the beliefs of those it wishes to influence it will have no influence. If it does not emphasize with the unconvinced (antagonists), they will not receive it. And, if they do not receive it — it will NEVER be able to influence them.

Anti-American Sentiment Boiling Over in Arab World, But Why?
The Anti-American sentiment in the Arab World is indeed at a high-point and this is very unfortunate because the United States seems to be being blamed for Israel's response to Hezbollah. Why are Muslims in many nations chanting; Death to Israel, Death to America?

10,000 Person March
IF we can justify illegal immigrants, why can't we justify thieves, murderers, rapists? These people are not bad ALL the time either!

Castro Consigns Cuban Concerns to Raul to Re-run Revolutionary Responsibilities
Fidel Castro is having surgery and getting up in years and has assigned Cuban concerns to his Brother Raul for now. Fidel Castro is 80 some years old now and has been in charge of Cuba since the revolution in 1959. Fidel Castro announced this passing of torch at least temporarily in Havana recently. But is this temporary or an end of an Era?

Marine Barracks Bombing in Lebanon
It is rather interesting how we listen to Hezbollah complain about the violence in Lebanon due to the war they started with Israel. Even more curious is how we see news footage of those in protests in Lebanon who blame the United States? Why blame the United States and why are they forgetting their history?
