Israel's Minimalist War
Israel failed to destroy Hezbollah as a fighting force because the Israeli government failed to adhere to the concept of total war. Despite preparations for an all-out assault into Lebanon, the Israelis limited their actions to border skirmishes and minimalist raids. As a result, they failed to accomplish their war objectives.

Near-Term Prospects for a Lebanon-Israel Peace Treaty
On Sunday, August 20, 2006, Lebanon's Prime Minister Fouad Siniora suggested that Israel, if it 'behaves wisely,' could be in a position to enter into a peace treaty with Lebanon. Don't schedule the celebrations just yet. Throughout the course of its long history, the Middle East has been a graveyard for optimism. Major obstacles could block the way to peace between Lebanon and Israel.

DNC Party Platform Reviewed Part III
Economic Prosperity is another talking point they like to trot out. We have Unemployment rates lower than they were in the so called 90s boom. We have more people owning homes than ever before. The jobs keep growing, even after the disastrous dot com burst that happened shortly after 2001. We have done this as a country through a recession, the worst attack on our financial structure ever...

DNC Party Platform Reviewed Part I
I took a look at the DNC website today to see what they were up to for the 2006 midterms. I really wanted to see what plan they had and if they really had a detailed plan. I also took a look at the RNC to see what they had for a plan for the American people. Seeing that we do not have a strong third party in the states I will not bother to look at the other parties as they have no chance in hell to win in 2006...

Democratization or Shift of Control?
Democracy is the 'people's rule' who are willing to govern themselves directly or through their representatives. Through centuries there have been thousands of single persons, organizations and even states which pretended being 'people's representatives' in order to take control over society. However, the humankind has determined a few successful democratization processes which seemed to truly represent people’s will. The history has shown such processes having held in some European countries, e.g. Germany, Britain, France, Italy etc. Are their 'people’s representatives' ruling systems really working?

Bringing Home the Bacon
Congressional spending is out of control. Elected representatives are concerned more with their own campaigns to stay in office and use pork-barrel projects to win votes at home.

Lebanon Post-Conflict Analysis
An examination of the immediate aftermath of the combat in Lebanon suggests that a return to the status quo ante is likely. Hezbollah will not be disarmed and it will continue to receive assistance from its Iranian and Syrian patrons. Moreover, the risk of regional instability has now increased with Israel’s doctrine of deterrence having been significantly eroded by the inconclusive outcome.

Cuba Libre? Not so Fast
The transition of the Cuban presidency from Fidel Castro to his brother Raul will mean little to the Cuban people. Raul is a known hard-liner who is likely to crack down on dissent to preserve Communist rule.

And The Winner Is
Less than 48 hours after the start of a tentative cease fire between Hezbollah and Israel, the U.S. President is publicly proclaiming winners and losers. Is he as stupid as he acts or is he just another dirty dog who can't resist rolling in a pile of crap? A message straight from my heart.

Mightier Than the Sword
With two strokes of a pen, the thinking citizens of the United States of America will: 1.) Earn the gratitude, respect and admiration of the civilized world. 2.) Reduce global violence to less than half its current level. 3.) Provide meaningful aid to the poorest among our global community -and much, much more.

First Admendment / Free Press
In these times of ever larger government and ever reduced representation of the people. It is important to remember that our forefathers created a set of guidelines for the governance of the country.

Let Us Give it Up for Condoleezza Rice; 15-0 UN Cease Fire Vote
Well it looks like after over a month worth of fighting between Hezbollah and Israel in Lebanon that we have a cease-fire agreement from the United Nations and to Dr. Rice's credit a 15-0 vote at the United Nations Security Council. Impressive would be the word of the day.

A Global Village: Striving to Survive
The concept of global village came to the social, economic and politic arenas by the end of the twentieth century when the World Wide Web, international politic and economic organizations (EU, United Nations, Monetary Fund etc.) developed their policy for the future globalization of the world in order to make poor people rich, sick people healthy, restricted people free etc.
