PowerHouse—Or Corrupt House of Power?

Two weeks to Election Day 2006 and like the rising tide that lifts all boats, the rising mounds of excrement in political ads make me want to throw up. Sadly, what should be an exciting and productive time in our history has degenerated into the lowest common denominator for the American people. We are a generous, learned and sacrificing people who deserve better than politicians desperately trying to hang on to their corruptive power.

Voting And Other Lies

Well, it is time once again for those that would rub our face into their lies, to do so again! The closer Election Day comes the more rubbing we get! I don't mind anyone telling the truth nor of telling a lie. If they want to. The lies they tell, reflect upon them! You should first know what the dictionary says is a lie, so as to be on the same page here. Lie; means to tell a lie, whether the teller knows what he is saying is a lie or not! Wow! That revelation should open up a new class of people in America! I mean, you could lump about everyone into that class! But for this article, we will be a bit more narrow in our coverage of lying. Mainly, here, we can keep this article's subject pointed towards Politics, as it affects us here in America. I have trouble with that. Like some magnet that has two North Poles, I tend to wander! I ain't kidding you here! Politics, as it is practiced here in this Great Country, is an arena for two types of people. That is; in the main. ....

Iraq and Afghanistan: Staying Until the Fight is Over

Leaving Iraq and Afghanistan would be catastrophic, for those countries and for the United States. The fight in both countries is far from over and calls for massive troop withdrawals must be resisted. Americans need to understand that we are indeed locked in a fight for our way of life, and that this enemy will not just leave us alone if we pull out of the Middle East.

The US Policy After G.W. Bush's Re-election

Slovak Economic Development

This article examines the present economic situation in Slovakia which is defined by specific factors: GDP (Gross Domestic Product), inflation, unemployment rate etc.

What North Korea Really Wants

Conventional geopolitical thinking has long assumed that North Korea has pursued an unrelenting campaign of provocations, its illicit nuclear program, and even a nuclear weapons test with the objective of assuring the survival of its current regime. Regime survival has little to do with North Korea's recent provocative behavior. North Korea's aims are far more ambitious. As a result, North Korea is not likely to alter its present course and security guarantees or economic inducements will likely prove ineffective.

Bottom Feeder Politics & Media Oversight

It's time to force some advsetising rules on political parties. The Foley scandal is a prime example of bottom-feeder politics.

Is Government Too Big, Bossy, Costly, Nosy and Powerful?

Some civil rights groups and government watch dog groups claim that the United States government is getting to be too big and costly. Many liken it to a giant blob of bureaucracy and that is truly unfortunate. Many people do not like the idea of their government being too nosy or snooping around in their personal affairs.

National Dialogue Is Polluted With Worthless Non-Issue Rhetoric

It sure is hard to have a national discussion on important political issues concerning our nations National Security and forward progression. We have some serious issues to discuss, such as pensions, social security, health care, over litigation, over regulation, illegal immigration, etc.

Human Rights And Ukraine

On the session of the United Nations that took place in 1948, there was accepted the Overall Declaration of Human Rights. It had the greatest influence on the development of the human rights all over the World. The development of the humanitarian law was found in such documents as English and American Bill of Rights, the French Manifest of the Rights and Freedoms of Man and Citizen, French Constitutions of 1791 and 1795 and many other documents.

Republicans Versus Democrats

In the war, yes I said war, between the Republicans and the Democrats, the Republicans are losing.
