Budget 2007 - My Stupid View
One major concern before the budget was presented was the rate of inflation. In the budget the tax on diesel was decreased to tackle this. But believe me this is not going to make any change. Inflation is driven by the disparity of the goods available to the goods consumed. Inflation does not go up overnight and it does not come down overnight. Like cancer the only way out of Inflation going up, is detecting it earlier.

Nurturing Malaysian Democracy
Malaysian democracy is stunted and retarded by gerrymandering, hegemony of the ruling regime, and a hopelessly weak opposition. How can it grow and flourish? By an understanding of the ideas that really underlied the American Revolution.

Who Is The Real Stephen Harper?
Anyone attempting to get a read on Canada's PM, Stephen Harper, will quickly realize that this is a man who is far from transparent. Some have argued that his dominant trait is a Machiavellian willingness to play the political game in order to maximize his winning potential.

Modern Liberals Claim That They Are Brighter People?
We all know that academia leans more towards the modern liberal skew than the rest of society in the United States. Perhaps you have noticed too that modern liberals claim that they are brighter people, as well? Indeed if many of them are in academia and more educated then one might say they are more learned in such things.

Resumption of Cold War
The argument made by US does not have much merit as North Korea or Iran don't have missiles that will reach US. So have to admit that the entire exercise is being done to nullify the hold of Russia in the territory. Russia with a very fast developing economy, thanks to a very high oil price(Again they have to thank US for IRAQ war for this) is getting back to something of a cold war stature. The entire crisis is happening from the US's refusal to work with a stronger Russia. Everyone might ask what's there in this for Poland and Checz Republic, the reward might be a bigger pay package from US and a foothold against the Old Europe.

Government Spending: What Does The Comptroller General Say?
Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) has been tracking wasteful government programs since 1984. This watchdog group's latest yearly figure of how much spending is unnecessary is $232 billion dollars. Remember this gets piggybacked every year. Over 5 years, it amounts to more than $1 trillion dollars-yes that is trillion with a t.

Elliot Spitzer - Governor of New York Delivers Brilliant Speech
It appears that many people under estimated the former Attorney's General for the State of New York. Some called him a man on a mission to root out corporate corruption and others called him a Machiavellian bound socialist. Indeed, being a New York Liberal many are somewhat concerned about his leadership.

The Right of Iraq to Self-Determination - Part 1
It was the right that underpinned the legitimacy and success of the American War of Independence, but it was the first democratic right to be trampled underfoot during the invasion of Iraq - that is the inalienable right of nations to self-determination. Now the US is supporting sectarian federalism. Can it work or is Confederation of Independent States needed?

Who Invented Bureaucracy Anyway?
We have all heard of the Bureaucracy that permeates our present period civilization, we may also have heard of the political bureaucracy of Ancient Rome. In the movie Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy we see some comical relief in that Sci Fi Fantasy. Arthur C. Clarke also mentions the bureaucracy in 3001. But perhaps you may not know the earliest written record of Bureaucracy

Run for the White House; A Three-Year Survivor Series
The run for the White House is turning into a media circus and it is incredible that we start the campaigning three years before the election. What is this a three-year survivor series? We have the new candidate Obama, who is a newcomer with no track record and apparently he is the Democrat's star candidate?
