Shalom, Salaam, Peace in the Middle East
Serious efforts are going on to build bridges between everyday, just-plain-folks Israelis and Palestinians, so maybe the peace negotiations should be in their hands.

Vote 2008 - Iraqi War How Do We Create Change In This Situation?
This article will cover the up coming vote and the time we all sat around and watched our government argue about how they were going to bring home our troops. So far I have seen nothing done by either party that we have elected. What can we do as American citizens to change this situation now and in the future when we again hold elections for President and other party elections?

China!
China looks like becoming the worlds super-power. One of the reasons I think we have little to fear from China, is due to its size.

Televised Presidential Election Process a Disaster for Our Civilization
It is amazing that our Presidential Candidates will use scare tactics to attempt to get votes. Even though this is completely common place it lacks integrity. Why should you have to scare the populous into voting for you? If a candidate has nothing to stand on and no strength of character, then why would anyone wish to vote for them? Perhaps no one would and they know it, so they attempt to use fear as a control mechanism.

Impeachment For The Hell Of It
We live in an age of cynicism, so cynical we admit defeat without really trying, I want to be an optimist, I do but the case against it is so strong. We forget that victory is immersed in defeat, the sapping of your enemy’s strength the blunting of his plans by nothing more than your damn insistence and refusal to admit defeat.

Should Our Lawmakers Save us From Free Market Forces?
Recently, our diligent lawmakers in the House passed a bill that would make gasoline price gouging a federal crime. I guess gouging the public with pork projects, bridges to nowhere, and subsidies to increase our daily costs is not high on their list of atrocities against U.S. constituents, but intervening in free market forces in an attempt to artificially cap commodity prices is deemed as a worthy cause.

Naser Khader and the New Alliance
The New Alliance party is the result of the softening of extremes on both right and left in Danish politics. This is remarkable enough in the country where the Muhammad cartoon wars erupted - a country moreover criticized by the Council of Europe for promoting intolerance and xenophobia. But what is most remarkable about the new party, is the driving force behind it - a Muslim named Naser Khader.

The Open Mind Trickery Tactic
One of the most interesting tactics in rhetorical debate is when the other party accuses you of having a closed mind. You might wish to relate to them, that your mind is not closed to ideas that are relevant only ill-conceived concepts and horse radish. Many people believe that it is important to have an open mind and a clear head, but if it is too open you might fall for just about anything and if it is a clear a blank sheet of paper, why are you wasting its capacity?
