Somalia - Al Qaeda's New Base - America's Next War?
Somalia has long been the world's centre of anarchy and Mogadishu the capital of mayhem. Awash with weapons, for 16 years it has existed without a central government and has been plagued by civil war between competing clan and sub-clans, warlords and jihadists. To hear the mainstream news media tell it, the only issue really in play in the 2008 Presidential election is the war in Iraq. What you're not hearing about is an issue that is likely to have a decisive impact on the Presidential race: abortion.

Gun Control Is Not The Answer
While knee-jerk reactions are understandable after the Virginia Tech tragedy, solutions that may sound the best, not always are. Rather than wasting time trying to get legislation passed that would not truly address the problem, it would be better to examine all aspects of recent school shootings to come up with a well thought-out approach to minimize the chances of them reoccurring.

In the workplace there are challenges related to equal pay and fair treatment.
