The Solution
If you’re in the midst of creating a website, don’t use frames! If you currently have a site that uses frames, your best bet is to start over –- update your site with search engine-friendly design and code. Thanks to DIV layers and the onset of AJAX, frames are becoming a technology of the past -- there is no longer any reason to use them.
Now, re-designing and coding your site will take some time. So, here’s a quick fix that may help while you are overhauling your site; the NOFRAMES tag. This solution requires that you place another version of your web page(s) inside your famed pages(s). This alternate page is what the search engine will see.
