Now I set up a small test using free online accounts from yahoo, gmail and hotmail to see how this worked, and early indications are it is quite effective, if a little time consuming to set up. It may well be that it works BETTER with online mail accounts than pop mail accounts - particularly if the technology used to filter the spam is Bayesian in nature.
