    Consider Branding
A brand sets you apart from your competition. Your brand can send multiple signals to people who then make judgements on you consciously and subliminally about you, your product or service. This then forms a basis of opinion. This instinctive process is what makes your brand so powerful. The key is to tap into what gives the customer the right reaction when presented with your brand. All business and services have a unique personality, philosophy, beliefs and opinions this is

    Content Ever be Profitable?
THE CURRENT WORRIES1. Content SuppliersThe Ethos of Free ContentContent Suppliers is the underprivileged sector of the Internet. They all lose money (even sites which offer basic, standardized goods - books, CDs), with the exception of sites profering sex or tourism. No user seems to be grateful for the effort and resources invested in creating and distributing content. The recent breakdown of traditional roles (between publisher and author, record company and
I've been thinking a lot about how best to market a blog so that you really get good visitors. And one of the things I thought about were PPC ads and whether or not they were really worth the money you put in to them.

See…Whenever you sign up for Google AdWords or some other PPC service, you are paying money for each and every person that clicks on your link. However, the thing about this is that the people clicking your link are only reading a short, two-line summary of what your website is about. I’d say about 75% of the people who click your ad immediately click the back button after realizing your website isn’t what they were looking for. Where does that leave you? That leaves you having to pay for that click–and that leaves that visitor unable to find what they were looking for.

Things like this happen a lot. Let’s do a quick number game, shall we?

(These numbers are 100% fictional, and do not make up anything with my own personal website, nor do they reflect real-time numbers.)

Let’s say that the PPC company you sign up for charges you 20 cents for every person that clicks on your link. And then, let’s say that you put in your budget that you are only wanting to spend … say $100 per month on PPC ads. That means you can get about 500 clicks to your website for $100. Well, of those 500 clicks to your website, this is more than likely how your visitor click-through is going to break down:

    • About 350 unqualified visitors

Unqualified visitors is a term I use to describe visitors who went to your website, however they weren’t interested in it, so they never come back.

        Blogging for Advertising
It was once understood that the company or companies who controlled the distribution of media (in other words, the big magazines and newspapers who could distribute to the largest audience) would be the most successful. That is no longer true in the cyber age. These days, one’s ability to attract the best audience and to create relatable material is the measure of a successful media outlet. Blogging creates customized material designed to attract just the kind of audience that w

            Internet Affiliate Success
Do you want to become a highly paid affiliate? This is one of the best on-line earning models that you can pursue.Lucrative and easy-to-set up, affiliate income can become an auto pilot business for you once it is in place. But you have to get it right to make it work. Consider these 10 steps to affiliate success.1) Soft sell, don't hard sell. Give your visitor useful information, don't just hit them over the head with a sales pitch, flashy banners, and

          • Then you just might get about 50 miss-guided visitors

They clicked the link thinking they were clicking something else–it happens a lot with Google AdSense ads.

          • With the remaining 25 visitors, you’ll probably get a couple of them who stay pretty up to date with your website and actually continue to visit you.
Now, obviously these numbers are completely fictional, however I use them to describe the PPC market the best way I can. So look at what you’ve spent here… You paid $100 to get 25 good, quality visitors to your website per month. What a rip-off, yea?

Let’s say you continue this trend for about 6 months. You’ve paid $600 total and what to show for it? 150 qualified visitors. Pfft. You’re better off throwing up posters on the bulletin board down at your city’s subway station.

You’re probably thinking…Well, how are some people able to do this so well, then? How come those people benefit so well from AdWords or other PPC programs?

The reason these people benefit well is more than likely because of the link-backs to their website, and the general all-around link base they have built for their website. I’m sure they’ve done quite a bit of link building for their website, and it’s paid off for them.

PPC ads are something that are either hit or miss, with a good 80% chance that you’re going to miss everytime. In my views (and I say in my views mainly because I’ve never tried wasting my money on PPC ads) PPC ads are 100% not worth the effort and cost unless you really have a good link-base and good, quality search engine rank. If you’re a brand new website just starting up, my words of advice to y
