And what if your customer sends you an email about the product you just sold which you don’t yourself own or have ever used so you cannot intelligently answer their question.

What then? Are you going to try and support the product I somehow don’t think so. Now you may not care at all about this and shame on you if this is your attitude. But it’s a fact and your credibility is what’s at stake here. Why is your credibility at stake when xyz product merchant does'nt respond to their emails.

They bought it from you did'nt they. And repeat customers is what you want either from your list or website. NO support =bad credibility and lost future affiliate revenue.
