They think they're working when they're checking their email, cleaning their desks, counting paper clips, whatever. They spend the whole day in a flurry of activity, but they're not doing one thing that makes them money. Don't fall into that trap. If your goal is to make money online and to work from home, then you've got to keep that goal focused in your mind. You need to ask yourself, "Are the activities I'm involved in making me money?" If your activities aren't making you money, STOP DOING THEM. Get refocused on your goal and start doing the money making activities that produce an income for you.

    When you break it all down, there's only one way to legally make money: sell something. Our economy is based on trade. Somebody has a product or service, and he trades that product or service for the other persons' money. Pretty basic stuff, right? Some of you are rolling your eyes, saying, "Come on, Joe. I learned this stuff in grammer school." Yes, most people will nod and say that they already know this stuff. But are they actually focused on it in their day-to-day activities.

    The trick to making money online is to do the activities that produce sales.
