Business Consulting and the Small Market
Many small businesses spend their short lifetimes, struggling and floundering, before they finally go belly up. While the average person tends to support small businesses and will claim that they prefer ‘mom and pop’ stores, the fact remains that few can compete with the large market chains that are quickly spreading across the country. What many fail to realize, however, is that business consulting offers these small companies a chance to fight back.“What can business consulting do,” you might ask? Sadly, most small businesses fail for what would seem the most obvious of reasons; poor marketing techniques, poor accessibility, and a simple game of not being able to keep up with the Jones’. Business consulting offers an outsider’s view and a professional critique; just as a good writer often relies upon the assistance of a skilled editor, the business consultant uses experience, taking a good idea and making it great.Business consulting covers all aspects, from the ground up. Sure, you may have the starting capitol for your business, but what about location? What name have you chosen for your business? Surprisingly, something as simple as whether you call your store “Beth’s Flower Shop” or “Beth’s Blooms” can have a drastic effect on your business. Does the outside of your store draw people in and, once they are there, does it leave a lasting impression? How do you intend to compete with the larger markets?Finding consultation is easy and will prove to be a wise investment, whether you choose to open a flower shop, a video rental, or start your own clothing line. Most people aren’t afraid to ask their friends, “What do you think?” and they expect an honest answer. Business consulting offers exactly what you look for; an honest opinion, helpful

When Is The Best Time TO Take Your Company Public?
CEO’s often call and ask me what the revenues and net profit should be before going public, they seem to think that there is a magic number that qualifies a private company into becoming a public company. There is no set amount of revenues or net profit that is required to take your company public, then when is the absolute best time to go public? The short answer would be when you don’t need to, or your company is not desperately looking for financing in order to survive.Instead you are looking for capital in order to finance growth and expansion, or you would like to use the public shares as currency to make acquisitions. But life isn’t always perfect, so we will take a look at a few questions asked by CEO’s that have called me looking to go public. What should revenues and net profit be before going public? A company could conceivably have 5 consecutive year of profitability and be a bad candidate for going public.I recently had a CEO called me from such a company, the revenues and net profit were identical for the previous five years but robust compare to many of the companies you see going public in the NASDAQ BB and Pink Sheets today. But I didn’t see any growth in either revenues or net profit nor any indication that there was going to be some in the future, the CEO did not know where future growth would come from.I told him that if he was just going public so that he could tell friends that he was the CEO of public company then he shouldn’t go public. But if he could develop a strategy for growth and put together a business plan outlining how he was going to grow revenues and net income, he could become an outstanding candidate for going public. The opposite of that would be a company that has been losing
The domain name dispute resolution system was supposed to be user-friendly, but this goal has not always been achieved. One of the main barriers to effective access has been the jargon that has grown up around the system. To successfully negotiate the system you must need to know the differences between registrants, registrars and registries; you must not confuse your UDRP with your ACPA; and you’ll need to be able to choose between NAF and WIPO should it become necessary.

    Abusive registration:

This is a key concept under the Nominet Dispute Resolution Policy; there is no concept of an abusive registration under the UDRP (although see the entry on bad faith). An abusive registration is one which was registered or acquired or has subsequently been used “in a manner which took unfair advantage of or was unfairly detrimental to the Complainant’s Rights”.

How Important Is It To Stand Apart From Others In An Interview And How Difficult Is It?
Any professionally trained interviewer can attest these questions are the most asked by people involved with job-hunting. How important is it? Absolutely vital! … How difficult is it? Not hard at all.I can demonstrate the importance with a true story from my book ‘The Art of the Interview’. [*Now on CD-ROM]In the early 1980s I interviewed a young man who, in our meeting, began to quote information pertaining to the company he was applying. He cited the previous year's corporate gross revenue figures, the number of employees’ country wide, projected new product launches and other related information. Needless to say, I was impressed. He got the job.In retrospect, although I tried to be unbiased, when comparing him to the other candidates I interviewed, his knowledge of the company [The Company I worked for and Loved] colored, in his favor, the whole interview. My impression was he had spent much time researching the organization which showed considerable interest and effort on his part. Not one of his competitors had done so.Months later, I asked him where he’d done his research to find so much about the company. He smiled and said, “Remember our meeting was scheduled for 2: PM that day you were running 15-minutes behind?” I nodded affirmatively. “Well, as I sat in the reception area waiting for you, I noticed, among the magazines on the coffee table, a Corporate year-end report in which, among other things, contained the company's complete history. Fifteen minutes gave me plenty of time to ‘research’ the company.” [And then he grinned]This story is true although the important lesson here is; he did something so simple, that in the end, made such a huge difference. He beat out twenty other candidates - many of whom had more impressive creden

Avoid Outsourcing Disasters On Your Path To Internet Marketing Fortunes
Outsourcing is the latest buzz word to hit internet marketing circles, teleseminars, and niche websites. It is certainly not a new concept to outsource work, but like so much else in our lives, the Internet has given rise to a new dimension of this popular technique. Because of this, there are a number of issues to keep in mind when looking at outsourcing as a viable alternative to doing it yourself. For good reason, outsourcing is a concept that internet marketing professionals and newbies alike should acquaint themselves with. Because a large number of internet marketers are running the show by themselves or with a limited pool of additional assistance, there are just too many tasks to complete alone. In addition to the time factor, it is simply not possible for any one individual to possess all the technical skills necessary to accomplish all aspects running an internet marketing business. With time and skill level being the two primary factors that lead internet marketers to outsource, it is important to understand which of these two needs you are fulfilling when you proceed to outsource. When analyzing your outsourcing needs on the basis of time constraints, it is advisable to have a good understanding of what an hour of your time is worth relative to the task at hand. For example, let's say it takes you six hours to accomplish a redundant task and it would take about 15 minutes for you to teach someone else to do it for you. Then look at what you may be able to accomplish in that same six hour period. Would you be able to use that time to finish an ebook that could be resold for untold profits, or write thousands of lines of code to package and resell? If so, then any modest fee that is paid to outsource that redundant task could be worth its wei

    Building a Successful Team
Once you've set a goal for yourself as a leader - whether it is to create your own enterprise, energize your organization, build a church, or excel in sports - the challenge is to find good people to help you accomplish that goal. Gathering a successful team of people is not only helpful, it's necessary. So to guide you in this daunting task of picking the right people, I'm going to share with you a four-part checklist.Number One: Check each candidate's history. Seek out available information regarding the individual's qualifications to do the job. That's the most obvious step.Number Two: Check the person's interest level. If they are interested, they are probably a good prospect. Sometimes people can fake their interest, but if you've been a leader for a while, you will be a capable judge of whether somebody is merely pretending. Arrange face-to-face conversation, and try to gauge his or her sincerity to the best of your ability. You won't hit the bull's-eye every time, but you can get pretty good at spotting what I call true interest.Number Three: Check the prospect's responses. A response tells you a lot about someone's integrity, character, and skills. Listen for responses like these: "You want me to get there that early?" "You want me to stay that late?" "The break is only ten minutes?" "I'll have to work two evenings a week and Saturdays?" You can't ignore these clues. A person's responses are a good indication of his or her character and of how hard he or she will work. Our attitudes reflect our inner selves, so even if we can fool others for a while, eventually, our true selves will emerge. And Number Four: Check results. The name of the game is results. How else can we effectively judge an individual's performance? The final judge mus

    Physician Jobs Overseas
The overall number of physicians now seeking overseas opportunities has been on the rise, and there are many countries that always have an increasing demand for medical personnel. The reasons for physicians looking for jobs in foreign countries could be many, but primarily they are the ones looking for the opportunity to practice medicine in a culture outside of their own so that they can gain additional and unique experiences. Those who seek opportunities outside the country are mainly driven by an inner need to take on fresh challenges and are not basically afraid of exposing themselves and their family members to alien surroundings. Of course, it stands to reason that pay packages are another motivation for many physicians to go abroad. However, for any physician who wants to practice in another country, there are several ground rules that must be observed. Considering the nature of the job, quality assurance is the foremost factor that comes into existence, and any agency that undertakes the recruitment process has to first guarantee that all the credentials have been checked and references have been consulted to assure that the applicant has an absolutely clean record. Each country has its own set of specifications that must be observed for migration and practice. These requirements are directly related to the health policies of that country. Saudi Arabia, for example, has an extensive, modern, national, health care delivery system providing both primary and acute care to its people. Most physicians are educated in the west and the care is comparable to any modern country. The latest technologies are used, including MRI and even laser surgery. Primary care is given through outpatient clinics and the nursing management team that are usually made up of western

A US law enacted on 29 November 1999. It amended the Lanham Act - the centrepiece of US trade mark legislation - and forms section 43d. The ACPA may - in certain circumstances - be applied to your case by the US courts, even if you're not a citizen of or based in the US.

    Arbitration:

Domain name arbitration is the contractually-based system of dispute resolution used to determine disputes about the proper ownership of domain names. It is distinct from traditional arbitration: a sophisticated system of private dispute resolution proceedings commonly used to determine international contractual disputes.

    Bad faith:

Under the UDRP a successful complainant must prove that the domain name was registered or is being used in bad faith. The concept of bad faith
