    Are You A Self Promoter?
Have you ever heard of any of these people:· Dale Earnhardt· Dr. Phil· Martha Stewart· Donald Trump· Madonna· Billy GrahamRegardless of their chosen profession, business or discipline, each of them is successful for a variety of reasons; but one thing they all have in common is that they are or were relentless self-promoters.Being a self-promoter can conjure up many different images in the minds of many, some negative, some arrogant, some self-serving and some envy; but, in the end, this abil

    Order Fulfillment
Channels of distribution are the most powerful element when talking about order fulfillment. The main function of this element is to find out appropriate ways through which goods are made available to the market. It is a managerial function and hence proper decisions are to be taken in this matter before commercial production begins. When the product is finally ready for the market, it has to be determined what methods and routes will be used to bring the product to the market i.e., to ultimate consumers and industrial users. This process in
How you ship products that you have sold is critical to the ease and success of your eBay business. It does not matter whether your business is in your home, or in a huge commercial building. These simple steps can save you time and money’ which is one of tactics on how to make money selling on eBay. Today we will be discussing some of the steps that Jenny and I have taken to reduce cost AND to make our home-based eBay business much easier to run. In fact it was so effective this year that we were able to ramp the volume we sold without adding any additional employees!

    - PRE-PACK AT THE TIME YOU LIST
    - PROTECT THE PRODUCT
    - CREATE A DESIGNATED SHIPPING AREA

    - PRE-PACK AT THE TIME YOU LIST
We have found that there is a savings of time when we pre-pack merchandise as we list it for auction. This reduces some of the otherwise redundant stops that are required to weigh, store and then package merchandise.

    - PROTECT THE PRODUCT
We package merchandise at the time we list it for auction. In addition to saving labor, it also helps to protect the product from damage while it is in our care, custody and control. The net result is that we retain more customers and we are able to reduce costs associated with broken items

    - CREATE A DESIGNATED SHIPPING AREA
While this discovery might not seem significant to some, as an in-home operated business, it was a major discovery for us. We found that creating a designated shipping work area significantly reduced packaging and shipping time.

We actually have many horror stories about shipping materials lying throughout our house. While they are now funny to think about, at the time, it was a major problem that we did not find all that amusing. We finally decided that we needed to focus on how to make money selling on ebay. One of the steps was to create a designated shipping area to address the problems.
    • We identified a small area that we designated for shipping. It was only about six-feet long, but it more than paid for itself.
    • We place all of the required packaging and shipping items and supplies in that area. This included boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, box cutters, labels, and more.
    • We organized the supplies to match the flow of the shipping work. As a package moved from left to right across the table, all of the tools and supplies required to do that specific task were there.

We also found that we were skipping on some of the critical tools and supplies to do a first-class job of packaging and shipping. We found that by having all of the materials to make shipping quick and easy, the job became quick and easy to perform. Our current shipping supply list includes:
    - Packaging Tape
    - Boxes
    - Brown Kraft Wrap
    - Protective Material
    - Box Knives and Scissors
    - Labels

    • Packaging tape – we purchase multiple rolls in 6-packs from an online supplier. Packaging tape is very inexpensive when purchased in these quantities.
    • Boxes – boxes are available from many sources. When we first started our business we found used boxes. We would cover the printing and then cut them to size. As our business grew, we began buying boxes in an assortment of sizes that worked for our highest volume products.

How to Compete in a Commoditized Industry
What is a commodity? According to the Webster Dictionary the word commodity is defined as a a good or service whose wide availability typically leads to smaller profit margins and diminishes the importance of factors (as brand name) other than price. In a commodity market, many companies compete and none enjoys a competitive advantage. Meaning, that each firm has equal access to such necessities as technologies, capital, clients, and labor. For example, a financial service firm that sell stock. Let’s face, all stock is the same. Choosing a New Promotional Gifts Vendor
With the type and quality of promotional gifts used fundamental to the success of a marketing campaign, it is important to take care when choosing a new vendor. It is essential to choose a company with the relevant experience and expertise to meet the promotion’s objectives. It is not simply enough, however, to find a vendor that sells innovative and creative promotional gifts, as what really makes the difference are those suppliers that are equally passionate about the service they provide. Planning a Successful Outdoor Mobile Billboard Campaign
The idea of Mobile Billboards came to me while strolling down a busy street on a typical work day in Los Angeles. I noticed an “advertise here” sign on the back of a bus with a phone number printed on the side. My curiosity led me to dial the number and upon hearing the pricing, I couldn’t help but smirk at the ridiculous fees that were being charged to display ads on a conventional, and such boring medium. At the time, I was president of a digital marketing company called Intellix Media, which was later acquired by Crenovate, Inc. With this
