I told him there was no point in me paying for something that wasn't helping my website or product. So be careful about all of the SEO stuff out there.

Some of them would include: Article submission (a great one), free press releases (this one doesn't seem too effective), a newsletter or e-zine (getting subscribers can lead to the same can of worms spoken of earlier), message boards, and others.

    The bottom line is that a person can't just 'put it on the internet and make $1,000,000.' Not without the effort that having anything worthwhile takes. With persistence and faith it can be done, it's just not as simple and easy as many would have you believe.
