Finding Sales Leads For Your Cleaning Business
When starting out in your cleaning business, your first clients may be friends, relatives or clients that you had while working for another cleaning service. To grow your business you need to expand your circle and gain new customers. Where do you look for potential clients? The following are practical ideas to find qualified leads.-- Join a networking or volunteer organization. Your community may have a chamber of commerce, Sertoma, Rotary or other networking organization. Expense Management
The lifeblood of the modern business enterprise is a series of daily financial and administrative processes that enable organizations to monitor and control expenses, track payments and invoices, and organize and manage workflow. The smooth functioning of these processes has always been essential to the efficient and profitable operation of the business. But in this era of increased regulatory scrutiny, these processes must also be able to supply documentation critical to compliance. Most organizations have hundreds or even thousands of personal expenses every month, be it petty cash, expense returns or credit cards. The cost of completing, authorizing, reconciling, re-check
The concept of a chronological series of articles revealing all aspects of my online business ventures no matter the personal consequences was my original focus. At this time though I believe it would be appropriate to actually reveal where or how far or not along I am with this adventure. So with the intentions of still covering the thought process up to this present revelation in future articles, I will detail as best I can my present online business condition.

Who Are You? What Do You Do? (And Does Anyone else Know?)
Who are you? What do you do?What phrase or few words do others use when they describe you and your business to others? Is this different or the same no matter who is doing the describing (you mom says pretty much the same thing as your insurance broker?)We're talking here about your unique brand Because people don't really buy a product or service, they buy you. So your brand better make sense and be easy to understand and buy. That's not to say you can't highlight different areas of expertise to different groups - but ultimately - you want everyone to walk away with the overall same impression of you and your b

    What is Workers' Compensation Fraud
What is FraudFraud occurs when a person knowingly or intentionally conceals, misrepresents, and makes a false statement to either deny or obtain workers' compensation benefits or insurance coverage, or otherwise profit from the deceit. The key to conviction is proving in court that the misrepresentation or concealment occurred knowingly or intentionally.Premium fraud and benefit fraud are the most common types of workers compensation fraud.Premium fraud is usually committed by an employer who misrepresents the amount of payroll or classification of employees, or who attempts to avoid a higher insurance risk modifier by transferring employees to a new business e

How Would You Handle This Customer Service Issue?
I was reading in the Winnipeg Free Press (my local paper) about a woman who was a passenger in a Unicity taxi cab. The woman had pre-paid her fare to the tune of $25.00. Nine dollars into the cab ride, the cab got into an accident. The woman was injured and unable to complete her trip. She asked for a refund of at least $16.00. The balance left on her pre-payment.You would think the cab company would bend over backwards to accommodate the woman, but no; they refused to give her a refund. This kind of customer service attitude is REALLY DUMB on the part of Unicity and it’s bad for business. Their refusal will cost them a lot more than $16.00.First the story made

Public Relations for State Gambling Boards
Many citizens are quite angry at the state gambling boards in those states that allow gambling. They say that casinos are able to get away with murder and build giant projects and break all the rules of the city's codes. These same people say that many times environmental impact reports are looked over and cast aside because the casino has so much clout, lobbying dollars and is so ingrained in politics that they cannot be stopped. It is because of the mistrust of government and the gambling boards as well as the huge amounts of money that gambling casinos generate that people generally mistrust the entire system. To alleviate some of this mistrust from the citizenry and some
During the first year, I have fumbled my way around what is involved in being a webmaster. At first and some times still is, it was intimidating and somewhat overwhelming. At this point I believe it is a personal judgement call whether to design and maintain what areas of your site. Of course there are several factors influencing this decision. Among them, finances, experience level-both in design work or the ability to choose a designer, knowledge level-marketing, software, and design, and mostly I believe the confidence and desire to do the work.

OK, my personal financing option is summed up by a phrase that stuck in my mind while watching a movie some tim
