If you job share, at the end of each day send your partner an email message summing up what you did and what they need to do the next day. Your partner should do the same for you. Stick any notes, messages, etc. into the tickler file for the next day. The Procedures Manual is time consuming but very rewarding and helpful. Anything done in your area will be in that book. It also impresses the “higher powers,” and beef’s up your resume. If you have access to Outlook, I recommend that you become familiar with all it is capable of doing for you. If you take advantage of what Outlook can do for you, along with the tickler system and your regular files, you will be organized and prepared. It makes that broken printer and impossible workloads much easier to handle.
