    Fighting For Your Life
Recently the well known American news anchor Peter Jennings died of lung cancer, just a few months after he publicly announced that he had the disease and that he was going to fight it with everything he had. After his death, I read some of the tributes that poured in about the life of Peter Jennings. One of the common themes that appeared in the statements made by his friends and colleagues was that they remembered what a determined, competitive man he was.Th

Rich or Poor - Get the Knowledge
Most people work hard all their lives only to "retire" poor then try to live off meagre savings or a small (rapidly disappearing) Government pension. They are forced to live out their twilight years struggling with constant money problems. Many of them have to buy only the cheapest food and are unable to enjoy the little pleasures of life like going to an occasional movie, eating out or taking short trips. They have to watch every cent they spend. If only these people
It is a simple question from a seven year old that starts me on a life review. ”Why do you run?” she asks when I stop for lemonade at her make-shift stand, the one sporting a sign that warms my heart: ” lemonaid 10 cents.”

But I can’t answer her. For several seconds, I sip at the cup and smile at her sun-freckled nose.

    “Why?” she asks again.

“It makes me feel good,” I reply, tossing the paper cup into the garbage pail, glad that I can slip away without saying more. Her question unsettles me though. The answer I have so glibly thrown at her does not seem to ring true.

Future Of Six Sigma -- Different Viewpoints
Since its introduction in the 1990’s, Six Sigma has become the buzzword in both the manufacturing and service industries. The various methodologies used in Six Sigma are based on a disciplined and data driven approach that help in eliminating defects and achieving near perfection by restricting the number of possible defects to less than 3.4 defects per million. Don't Let Your Domain Names Expire
Realistically, most “good” .com domain names are already taken. If your definition of “good” means single word, easy to remember names, then you’re probably already aware that these names will be extremely hard to find and will cost you quite a bit of cash. But, on the other hand, two and three word names are still available for the low cost of registering a new domain name with a registrar. Global Warming? Pah!
So global warming, eh? It's coming and it's coming fast. Lock up your daughters and put out the cat for that one last night. Global warming, and the end of the earth, is nigh and we are all to blame. But, hold for one moment. Yes, there are eminent scientists telling us that we are the cause of this global catastrophe and that, whatever we do, it will happen and will devastate the earth and all that live on it.But there are conflicting views too, and they hold

    Why DO I run?

I have been a runner for 27 years, yet I am hard pressed to say exactly what makes me run. My first turn around the local high school track was motivated by sheer vanity. Having gained over 40 pounds with the birth of my first child, I was determined to make running the means to an end. I shed the pounds, but found in the process of doing so a new enthusiasm. Those were heady late twentysomething days when running seemed more like a cult than a sport—part of the Brave New World of Fitness that made me feel like a colt. It made me feel sleek, toned and fit, filling
