If you truly want to get the things in life that you desire, take a look at your thoughts and beliefs surrounding that desire. Once you find your deep seated belief, you’ll be able to adjust that belief to be more effective in your own life.

What do we say to ourselves during the day? Are we grumbling about everything or are we happy to be alive? Affirmations a incredibly helpful. It has been found that the more we tell ourselves something, the more we believe it. So, wouldn’t it make more sense to tell ourselves something good?

    Home Business Success With Blogs
Many have found home business success in affiliate programs on the World Wide Web. However the problem has always been in setting up and maintaining personal web sites to help drive traffic to their affiliate sites.Web sites have always been critical and very important tools in many a home business success story. However they are costly and very time consuming to maintain. Then there is the problem of building up enough traffic to make your affiliate program successful. But all these problems hindering home
In a university study of human behavior, it was determined that we as humans develop 50% of our beliefs, habits and perceptions by the time we are 4 years old. By the time we are 8 we have another 35% in place and by 18 we have 95% of our habits, beliefs, and perceptions engrained in us. Now, I don’t now about you, but that is somewhat of a scary thought for me. To think that I make decisions on a daily basis operating from the perception of an 18 year old! And to think I am helping my kids to determine their beliefs!

Don’t get me wrong; I feel there are many 18 year people who are very intelligent, responsible, considerate, and all around great people. I’m speaking from the thought of myself at 18. The difference between my life now and what it was at 18 is paramount!

I have a quick story that you may have already heard:

A little girl sees her mom cooking a family dinner. The grandparents and great-grandparents are all there. She asks her mom, “Why do you cut the ends off of the ham before you cook it?” the mother replies, “That’s the way my mother did it.” So the girl finds grandma and asks the same question. The grandmother replies, “That’s the way my mother did it.” You guessed it, the girl went to great-grandma and asks, “Great-grandma, why do you cut the ends off of the ham before you cook it?” the grand-mother looks at the girl lovingly and says, “I never had a pan big enough so I had to cut the ends off to make it fit!”

Now you see how beliefs and thoughts get passed from generation to generation. This is a good example of following our parents lead if for no other reason, just because that’s the way it has always been done.

Do we even know what our thoughts are on a daily basis? How do we react to certain situations based on what we believe deep inside? Where did those beliefs come from? Apparently they came from our parents, baby-sitters, siblings, teachers and friends in an 18 year span of time at the beginning of our life.

Our thoughts are as a part of us as any other part of our body. We could not function without thought. Do you remember when you learned to drive? Watching the mirrors, making sure you didn’t go too fast, looking at the signs, watching for other traffic, etc. Now, it’s not uncommon to see someone driving down the road, eating a sandwich, talking on the cell phone and driving with their knees! (it could also be riding a bicycle or anything else that you do daily)

So how does this all play into our actions? If we were to take every second of the day and evaluate our actions or better yet, our reactions, we could see that our thoughts, beliefs, habits, or perceptions dictate everything that we do.

Are some of our thoughts and beliefs useful? Of course! Are their some that keep us from achieving the things in our life that we want? Absolutely.

What do you believe about money? (i.e. “Money is the root of all evil”) What do you believe about relationships? (i.e. “People leave a couple of years into a marriage”)What do you believe about yourself? (i.e. “I’ll never get what I want, I’m not – smart, lucky, rich, tall, male, female”) Where did we learn these beliefs? You got it; parents, teachers, etc.

The Five Year Plan Works in Franchising
Many franchise agreements these days have five year franchise terms, which go through to an automatic renewal period and then they go for another five years. In the past many franchise agreements were 10 to 15 to 20 years. Today business moves too fast and things change too much for a 20 year franchise agreement. The five-year plan is nothing new. Many governments also have five-year plans which are updated every five years. India for instance has a five-year plan and they have five-year plans for many different

No Horse is Too Dead to Beat!
Remember the sandwich with the image of the Virgin Mary on it that sold on ebay for thousands of dollars? That's a perfect example that "no horse is too dead to beat!" Many probably wondered what did this person do to sell something of, apparently, no value whatsoever.Three important factors, in fact, very important factors were into play here.1- The Confidence Factor. Ebay is a well-known, reputable and extremely popular shopping hub and it has the people's confidence. When you inspire confidence to your

Why Publish Your Writing In A Printed Book
Like it or not, a lot of people still prefer printed books to eBooks. They like -- no, they love -- the feel of a printed copy in their hands. It gives them a sense of well-being and solidity, to have a physical work they can carry with them and put on their bookshelves. They're "old school" and they like it that way. Or, they just never warmed up to eBooks or digital media.I had a conversation with an international television reporter about one of my books that was coming out soon -- I didn't yet have the printed

Traffic Avalanche -- Let Your Visitors Help You With More Traffic
You can do the whole work as far as your site traffic drive is concerned. You can also outsource some of your tasks. However, you can be really smart and let them (your visitors) do some of the hard work for you (Yes, for free!) Here's how...1) Give them such high value content on the subject of their search that they cannot but help telling everyone they know about it. Take your content to such high levels that they'll want to have the honor of being the first to "tell" about the site.Do you know that apar
