I will never forget an experience when I was a waitress at a place called Harts Turkey Farm in NH…we had a rather vast menu for a turkey place! You could get turkey this, turkey that, and of course, turkey sandwiches. One day, a customer asked for the sliced turkey sandwich but he “didn’t want this, didn’t want that, just the turkey and lettuce”. (I assumed he still wanted the bread. He did.)
