My grandmother (no longer with us) immigrated to Australia in the early 1900’s.

Alas we have also witnessed the birth of fast food technology and what could be termed economic greed that could possibly be responsible for creating a diminishing life expectancy of our current younger generation.

Each and everyone of us would have a favorite invention of the past 100years, many would argue that the age of technology and what it brought to the world was by far the greatest period, true that maybe, but it also brought to the world increased famine, increased environmental devastation and because of economic greed it also brought financial ruin, bankruptcy and instances of Government corruption.

To me the greatest of all has been the advancements created by both technology and communication to provide the now called age of information. You see the first step to any lasting personal change is the consciousness change, the down to earth honest self-awareness that is the starting point of long time life improvement. Unfortunately my grandmother did not have this opportunity, or she would have consciously had the fear removed not let it hide in her subconscious for well over 70 years and she could have enjoyed that ever wanted visit to her homeland.
