I have been thinking deeply for the past few days about why some people misunderstand the law of attraction. What is the one huge thing that keeps them from truly understanding the law of attraction? For example, why do people watch the movie The Secret, try it for a few days, and then give up all hope? What seems to be the missing ingredient?

After much thought, I have come to conclusion that the missing secret is Surrender. It is about allowing. It is about complete and utter faith. In our culture surrender is seen as a negative thing. It is viewed in the light of defeat. However, true surrender IS faith. It is knowing that you are loved and will always be provided for. True surrender is comfort. When we set an intention and put it out there, we must do two things simultaneously-1) Assume responsibility for the current situations and 2) Surrender it to the Universe (God, Higher Power, Higher Self).
