To break-out of the rut that many of our organisations find themselves stuck in, we need a fresh approach; and that approach will only be found by shifting away from traditional thinking.

    In Stephen Covey’s book The 8th Habit, he champions the forging of a ‘new paradigm’ - a new map – for the practice of management in the modern workplace. He suggests that the old command and control style of management is dead in the water; and that a new style is necessary for the demands of the 21st century.
