Look at the book of 1Peter 1:20 it says He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have be born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the loving and enduring word of God.

Now look at the book of Romans 15:4 it says For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. To conclude in the book of 1Corinthians 10: 23 it says Everything is permissible—but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible—but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.
