Most recently we saw a perfect example of the incompetence in our government when the CAN SPAM Act was initiated and given to the Justice Departments Federal Trade Commissions Consumer Protection Divisions Anti-SPAM Group for enforcement. What was a good law to help the American People, was mismanaged by the FTC, as they did they only thing they know how to do; PR themselves. Hoping they could scare SPAM away, even though SPAM was clearly here to stay. They spent 6-months defining SPAM, filed some lawsuits and now report back to Congress in further defining the problem.
