I suppose its rather like saying : if only Christianity would work, we could all live in harmony. But the country is in some serious trouble and no thanks to New Labour.

Still Gordon Brown will be in No 11 soon so we’ll see if it makes any difference. Having to back down on Grammar schools might be his undoing?
