Real Estate Postcard Q&A - Most Effective Postcard Strategy
About This Article This following question came from a Q&A survey I sent to more than 3,000 real estate agents. The survey pertained to real estate postcard marketing. From hundreds of responses, I compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions. This is one of those questions.Question: What is the single most effective postcard for agents on a budget?Answer: The single most effective postcard is something the people in your mailing area would find interesting, exciting and worth a closer look. In other words, the most effective postcard is the one that gets your target audience to respond. What that strategy might be I cannot tell you, because I'm not familiar with your area or the people in it.Some marketing tactics are universal and will appeal to people in many different areas. But the best tactics are highly specific and "in tune" with the local r

Factors Affecting you Motorcycle Insurance Premium
Though it isn’t officially required in several states, many motorists prefer to get a motorcycle insurance. It is a good and extremely significant coverage in case the inevitable happens. After all, simply being careful while driving your motorcycle and wearing safety gears isn’t the only insurance you need. Most of us are aware that motorcycles have higher rate of accidents per unit distance compared to cars. This is because of the exposed driver and the reality that most vehicle drivers are unable to see these smaller driving machines in the traffic line.If you are transferring to a new state or you have just purchased a motorcycle, you should check first the insurance law of your state before whooshing down the road with your bike. This way, you can be sure that you are driving or riding legally. In case your state requires you to have liability coverage, then there are lots of motorcycle insurance opti
My two year tour in Germany was over and I was grateful for the commercial flight back to the United States. With thirty days leave to spend with my family, now living in Florida, I was ready to relax. Dad was commercial fishing now and hunting Alligators. Mom was happy with her beach house on the lake and her painting. And my little sister was in highschool. Dad took me out running the trout lines in the day time and at night we would load up the boat and go alligator hunting.

In 1961 it was still legal to hunt alligators and we would use a boat or wade through the swamp shining a light around looking for red eyes. If the eyes were high off the ground then it would be a cow, and you had better not shoot any cows. Dad shot a 5-foot alligator one night and I was dragging it back to the boat when it came back to life. The tail is the strongest part and I could not hold on. Dad finished him off with the 22 mag. pistol he carried and we had alligator tail for dinner the next day. The trout lines were for cat fish, and he would usually bring in a tub full each day and skin them on a nail board next to the Canal that ran along side the house.

The trailer that we had lived in for two years before I left home, was parked behind the house. Dad kept bait in the freezer, maggots he collected and froze for bait. Visitors who stayed in the trailer were warned to not open the freezer! Dad also used Camay Soap, the cat fish liked the smell I guess. Need Instant Cash? Beware of Pay Day Loans!
Have you seen the commercials? Cute characters promise financial prosperity. Happy, professional individuals appear to regularly visit their corner pay day loan shop as proudly as cashing a check at the bank. Customers at the grocery store all recommend pay day loans as the easy solution for a lack of funds.Could pay day loans be the answer consumers with low bank accounts have been looking for? Is there any harm in using these services? Aren't they better than using credit cards or going hungry?WHY USE A PAY DAY LOAN?Some individuals reason that paying a bill with borrowed money is better than receiving bad credit marks because of not paying the bill. This is understandable. However, some financial institutions are willing to make the occasional exception if contacted about the situation. Or there may be a small fee, but not a credit report made.Using it for groceries or other items? Consid

Copywriter Rates, Getting The Facts Beforehand
Have you ever had the experience of hiring a freelance copy writer only to find that the project takes longer than expected, or that the fees they offered are ‘flexible’ in the wrong way for you to benefit. There is no doubt that copywriter rates differ greatly from one to another. There is very little in the way of a standard rate especially when you are dealing with clients through the Internet. To ensure you don’t get taken for a ride, you need to get your copywriter rates set and keep them that way.No matter if you are just beginning a project or are half way through, the benefits of having a set contract are enormous. Not only can you save yourself quite costly fees, but you can also count on when the project will be complete, how much you will pay, and, in the end, what to expect. If you are looking for basic rates, then ask for them. Find the copy writer you want to do the work, give them some basic

Public Relations for United States Post Office
Everybody cringes at the thought of the raise in cost of stamps every couple of years. Indeed people also cringe at the amount of junk mail they get each day. It is therefore necessary for the United States Post Office to maintain a great public relations strategy. The sponsorship of the Tour de France with Lance Armstrong certainly made brownie points but what can the USPS do long-term to bolster their community goodwill in cities across the nation? Well consider if you will the participation in a Neighborhood Mobile Watch Program. Why you ask? Simple consider how the USPS operates for a moment if you will.UNITED STATES POST OFFICE: Normally the USPS will not put stickers on their LLVs (Long Life Vehicles) but the contract carriers who deliver the mail to their post office will. Also think about the number of mail vehicles? They will participate and you can have your local community police person contact

Real Estate - What Are You Really Selling?
Suppose you are selling a home. What are you selling? If you put an ad in the paper, will it just say "house for sale?" Of course not, because you are always selling more than just a "house." You are selling a location, a certain amount of living space, and much more.To properly market your home, you need to consider what exactly you have for sale. The house may fit many people's criteria for a good home, but there will be some few things that are most important about your house for the most potential buyers. These are what you need to identify and use in your marketing. Then, when the buyers come, the focus changes. The question becomes "What are they buying?" As long as your home meets their needs, you sell them what they want, not what you like about the home. What Is For Sale?Ask some questions to identify what you are really selling. These may include:- Why did your neighbor

Only a year before fish traps were used on the lakes by the commercial fishermen and had just been outlawed due to feared over fishing. Trout lines were all that were allowed and it was a lot more work. My sister had the job of baiting the lines that were set in box frames with the hooks hanging from groves around the outside. Dad would set the stack of frames on a turn table mounted on the edge of the boat. The boat would then be driven fast across the lake with dad picking off the empty frames as they turned feeding the line out into the lake. He would attach a milk jug every once in a while to hold the line off the bottom. That afternoon we would bring the lines and cat fish back in with a few turtles to create a little excitement. We usually ate the turtles and alligators, and dad sold the fish.

After about a week of this I was ready to get on the road. The old family car was a 1956 Chev. station wagon. Dad had moved up to a Volkswagen and he gave me the Chev. Wagon. It ran good, but the tires needed balancing so I could only drive about 55 miles an hour. I drove up to west Kentucky to see my Aunt and Uncle before heading across the country for the second time. But this time I was traveling in style. My Aunt packed a sack of sandwiches for me and I would drive, eat sandwiches and sleep in the back of the wagon when I got tired.

Three days later as I was crossing Idaho, it started snowing hard and it was dark. I pulled off the express way and down the ramp to what looked lik
