Niche marketing is the current buzzword in online marketing, with every internet enterpreneur jumping on the bandwagon to uncover and promote certain niches. Certain niches appear to be extremely popular with thousands of web pages being built daily on those niche keywords. Generally, the selection of niches is very much dependent on the preferences of the entrepreneur. However, the broad school of thought is to select keywords on certain niches based on th

So You Want To Own Your Own Business and Be Your Own Boss? Part 2
Self-discipline. This is the single most important factor when you want to run your own business. If you have spent years in the work force, with someone else telling you when to go to work, what to do when you get there, when to take a break, then when to go home, you will have to re-learn how to behave. And Self-Discipline is the only way to do that. Another way to say it is Self-Control, Willpower, or Drive. If you can not find the drive to change your th
I have in my personal library several good books addressing the issues of jail and prison ministry. Each author has taken a unique approach and position in addressing the various issues involved in ministry to the incarcerated.

There are many factors to be considered in a ministry of this nature. Five separate individuals or communities must be brought into the mix: the volunteer, the prisoner and the family of the prisoner, the correctional officer, and the chaplain. The volunteer may become involved in interaction with one or more of these communities.

In this article we have presented general principles and a Biblical foundation for ministry. This work is an overview of volunteer opportunities. It is my desire to challenge, you, the individual reader to be creative in finding ways to involve yourself or your church in one or more of the many opportunities for jail and prison ministry.

Recently I have been encouraged and impressed by the number of people who are responding to the call of God on their lives to enter prison ministry. Concerned and interested people want to know more about steps they can take to get involved. Maybe this is a question you have wanted answered.

Important Things To Do Prior To Closing
Well, chances are if you have made it almost to the closing date of your new home then you are pretty much ready to move in and enjoy your new purchase. That being said, there is still a few important things that need to be seen to. Specifically the final walk through. This may seem like something that is not incredibly important. After all, you have gotten somewhat familiar with the home, all that remains is to sign the papers and be done with it. Right? No

Internet Marketers - Not Just Another Infomercial!
First there was the door-to-door salesman, coming to you with a product you may or may not have ever seen before and assuring you that once you heard about it you could no longer live your day-to-day life without it.Next came the infomercial. Competition for volunteer time is intense. You may want to volunteer for a regular weekly ministry. If you are looking for a limited “one shot” volunteer experience, which produces a quick tangible result, there are other avenues of ministry. Prison ministry is one of the hardest of all volunteer commitments. This ministry can also be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever encounter. Your on-going faithful ministry, week-by-week, month-by-month, and year-by-year, will prove to be an exciting investment in eternity.

There are many facets open for volunteer service in prison ministry. A quick inventory of your interests, concerns, and spiritual gifts will help to determine how you can best serve.

For example, you may feel led to work in one of the many aftercare ministries for ex offenders. Local, state and federal facilities have many excellent programs designed to heal the physical and emotional hurts of family members. Drug education programs provide help to youth and adults. Their emphasis is on avoiding enslavement to drugs and in recovering from the bondage of addiction.

Worship services, Bible studies, evangelism and discipleship are all areas open to the dedicated Christ
