Career Impact on Life in General
How does unemployment impact us in all areas of our lives?Where did we go wrong? After all we have so much education and knowledge. So why would such a person be out of work?REALITY - IT HAPPENS TO SO MANY OF USI have a true story for you with facts and solutionsA few months ago I met a gentleman who shared with me his emotional story.Even though he climbed the academic ladder achieving the PhD in Operations Research in addit

We’ll be able to make internet calls (voip) from our handheld devices like such as Blackberries or Treos (hmm… I wonder why I can’t do that now with my Blackberry now?…hint…hint..)

Do You Know What Kind Of Job Opportunity You're Looking For?
Just after leaving school or college with or without a degree pinned to our well tailored blazer, we immediately dream of filling the chairman’s chair in a multinational company, eager to preside over the board meeting and take part in the all too pleasant tea party. No, there is nothing wrong with it. We greenhorns, all do that during some part of our early youth. Save and except, that it does not happen that way, however we may blame the dream machine. We nee
Thinking about what the internet and technology will be like 10 years from now is pretty damn scary. When I interview people I like to ask them what they think of the future of the net and online businesses and I’ve received some pretty interesting answers.

    Here’s my take:

Well I’m sure that the “everything-will-be-on-the-net-and-there-will-just-be-a-screen-and-box” clich? explanation is getting pretty old, but it’s so, so true and most people aren’t really thinking like that besides the computer savvy entrepreneurs, programmers, designers, etc…

Now I am no technology expert, not even close. I am a visionary who thinks about the “what-ifs” and “whys.” I’m the guy daydreaming in class thinking about solutions to problems…things that don’t even make sense because they are so disruptive to our current ways of doing things and seeing the world. I’ll never limit my dreams and visions to things that people aren’t ready for yet… I think BEYOND that.

The internet will change our lives more than most people understand. To not think about the future of the net and related technologies, is to commit entrepreneurial suicide – no matter what business you’re in.

Think about it, you don’t even need a computer to a write paper/report, make a spreadsheet, or create a speech presentation, all of those things can be created just by signing on to the net. Heck, we can even make phone calls online now – forget landlines!

The Latest Craze In Coffee Mugs
Coffee mugs have a long history and are a great marketing tools for businesses. In this article I hope to highlight the ways that companies use coffee mugs as a marketing tool using a couple of examples. The great thing about coffee mugs is the inexpensive price for a very portable and multifaceted holder. Not only are coffee mugs good for drinking coffee, but also coffee substitutes like water, tea, juice and hot chocolate. The other thing that you can u

Company Policy Does More Damage to Customer Service Than Anything Else
As a customer service consultant I see things across many companies that most companies don’t see while working inside the company.o Company Policy One of the biggest problems is “company policy.” Many company policies are structured to protect the company from the customer instead of helping the customer get what he wants and has paid for. Your success will explode when your company, and your employees are structured with the customers’ wants and n

Implementing A Successful PR Campaign - PR Does Not Stand For Press Release
There’s no denying that the Internet is allowing more and more entrepreneurs to start their own businesses and effectively market their new products. However, there seems to be an increasingly common misconception when these businesses try to generate media attention and publicity for their products or businesses. Over the past several years, I have had more than a few clients come to me seeking “a PR” to get people interested in their products/businesses. That

Using Banner Stands to Increase Trade Show Traffic
Attending a trade show can be a very effective method of promoting your company and its products. And one of the most effective ways to optimize your trade show display and increase traffic to your booth is through the use of banner stands. A banner stand for your trade show display draws attention to your booth and helps you deliver your message to prospective clients, current customers and business contacts at what is usually a highly competitive event. Business as we know it will be played on a completely different game field. The net will offer so many things that we have been accustomed to doing offline and smack them online in some neat and interesting way. To many, it will be a shock and result in people running away from these changes, but to the smart and prepared, we’ll accept these transitions and rejoice!

I can see crazy things happening like hooking up wifi sensors (are there such things?) to our stoves, microwaves, and freezers that monitor the temperatures and tell us when something is burning or freezing on our cell phones and handled devices.

And you can forget about ever using cash to pay for a soda or snacks again from machines, in the future we’ll all have online accounts connected to our phones and we’ll simply pay for our food directly from our phones and out comes our Pepsi and chips just like that.

And, of course, all books as we know them will eventually be scanned onto the net. Not to say that we’ll ever stop reading physical books – I doubt that we will – but we already see companies like Google and Mr.Softy (microsoft) making great strides to index our libraries on the net.

It’s really too crazy to pinpoint any one thing that’s going to happen because the possibilities and endless. In my mind I am always thinking about the future of my company and
