Try talking to someone who lost their legs. I know it's not a positive example but I'm trying to make a point here. I wouldn't be surprise if they'll give up all of their savings to have both legs again.

It's been a long working day today for me, especially after Valentine's Day. And there are just too much work for me to finish today at my office.

At 8.00 PM, I left the office.

When I got back to my apartment, I can't enter the lift. The lift was 'booked' because there was a smart guy moving into one of the apartment's units. Yeah, at night.

The other lift was 'holding' on level 12.

What the heck. I'm tired and I can't wait. I'll just take the stairs with a grumpy face.

After reaching the first level of walking up the stairs, suddenly I felt really good! I dunno, it just hit me out of nowhere the feeling of gratitude.

Maybe I was destined to walk the stairs today because it makes me felt how wonderful it is to have both legs that are working perfectly. The joy of walking.

I know you might think... "Isn't that you always have, Bernard Tan?"

    Yes.

That's what I always have . My two legs. But how often did I thank 'them' for being there for me... giving me the privilege to walk, run, squat, kick and all of the wonderful; things that you and me are doing with our legs?

Do you know that there are people out there that cannot walk... who would be so grateful to walk up the stairs for the rest of their life without using a lift? They know how to appreciate what they DON'T HAVE. I've seen and met them.

    What Good is a Tagline?
According to Wikipedia, the definition for the word tagline is: “a variant of a branding slogan typically used in marketing materials and advertising. The idea behind the concept is to create a memorable phrase that will sum up the tone and premise of a brand or product (like a film), or to reinforce the audience's memory of a product. Some taglines are successful enough to warrant inclusion in popular culture

Getting That Frame Of Mind To Make Extra Money
When you are totally cash strapped yourself, it is pretty darn difficult to maintain sound judgment when someone tells you that they know how to make extra money. You might know that whatever making extra money ideas that they have could be pretty much a hair-balled get rich quick scheme. But then, part of you wants so much to believe in it. After all, people do get lucky right? You might be down on your

    Already Tired of the Holidays?
It seems to me when I was young, that the holiday season didn't start until after Thanksgiving. Not after the 4th of July. By September I am so sick of hearing about what people are doing for the holidays, that I just don't care anymore. There doesn't seem to be any Christmas spirit anymore. Oh sure, you see the occasional Nativity Scene, but even then it is only on church properties. What is wrong with

    Employment Agencies On The Rise
As more and more people are being laid off and replaced by technology, more and more people are finding themselves unemployed. It is sometimes difficult to find a new job in today's competitive job market. Every year thousands of people are turning to employment agencies as a way to aid them in their job search. Employment agencies specialize in placing individuals with companies that would be a good fit.

I'm not talking about legs. Don't get mislead about this article. It's definitely not about legs, my friend. It could be a nose, heart, ears, eyes, brain, house, friends, wife, husband, money, kitchen, tie, shoes. it doesn't matter. Appreciate what you have by looking at the positive side. Do this and I have no doubt that you'll be a happier person for the rest of your life.

Like the things you have right now. NO MATTER how terrible they could be, I strongly believe that they are not as bad as you think they are. Even if you insist that they are bad, I'm sure that you have many more things that you should be gratitude with.

Am I asking you to be a positive thinker... even though let's say, your life sucks? Nope.

That would be foolish because that's not being sincere to your own self. I'm teaching you a practical method. Focusing on what you have that you should be gratitude of. They are almost the same but they are not. They are separated by just a thin line so it takes some experience to distinguish them. Positive thinking and focusing on positive energy.

I didn't know walking the stairs can make me felt so much alert about the appreciation of life. Maybe, you should try next time. Doesn't have to be stairs. It could be walking to your office instead of driving there (of course, if it's beyond walking distance!).
