    What I decided to do, since I don’t yet have a product or service of my own, was start a web business building project live on the web and invite other newcomers along for the ride. The purpose is to learn the ropes of Internet Marketing while creating a profitable web business and sharing gained knowledge with others.

    Once you’ve decided on your niche you’ll need a web presence.

    There are a lot of web host companies out there. Make sure the one you pick meets the basics of a good host: Reasonable cost, 24x7 support, guaranteed up times, established, good web building tools that don’t require a degree in HTML programming. Other things to consider, depending on your type of business, include email accounts, newsletter creator, auto responders, web statistics, a domain name that YOU own. If you write down your needs first it will speed up your research time
