Recruit & Retain The Right People By Developing A Winning Mentality
One of the biggest factors that determines whether your business succeeds or fails in finding and keeping the right people consistently is your attitude. In simple terms, having a winning mentality increases your chances of recruiting the best people and then keeping them.Think about it - to successfully sell your goods and services, you need to totally believe in them, because if you don’t, your customers certainly won’t either. And to succeed in holding onto your best customers, you need to believe that you truly offer them something different from your competitors – you need to be convinced yourself before you can
What did they do in ancient Egypt that employers are still using with amazing success today? They analyzed handwriting.

Does handwriting really show the personality of the writer? Does analyzing the writing of potential job candidates work?

    Answer: YES.

90% of European employers consistently use it for hiring, promotion, and interpersonal conflict. Obviously this repeat use indicates satisfaction with the results.

However, for many North American employers it is still an unknown quantity. It sounds “flaky.” It sounds just plain weird.

But stop to think about this for a moment.

Once we know someone well we recognize their movements as being typical and unique to that individual. We even comment about children that they have the gesture

    Creating Successful Classified Ads
Free Classified ads are a useful tool for a number of different occupations. You may be offering/looking for a job or advertising and work from home opportunity. Free classified ads were one of my first ports of call when trying to get referrals for affiliate programmes. They are quick and easy to set up, they are free and most importantly of all they give RESULTS.There are a zillion different free classified ad sites out there. To find them just type in Google 'Free classified ads' and there will be about 15 million results. My advice would be stick to the first page or so for the simple reason that those are the sites, that get the most t

Career Fairs Best Serve Everyone But the Jobless
Reading my Sunday newspaper yesterday reminded me of how Career Fairs do little to substantially increase local employment. It seems that no one is willing to say this, and a lot fewer are even willing to believe it, but I know it to be all but a fact. After spending 20+ years in the news business, and another 20+ years as a personal marketing specialist helping potential hires by writing upscale resumes, I can relate my experience with authority. You might think that after helping 5,300+ clients get on with moving on and moving up in their careers that I could produce at least one client who has benefited from attending a Career Fair.

    Setting the Right Price
One of the ways people get to know you is by the identity you project. Your company name, the way you present yourself, your business card and brochure, where you work, and other ways you conduct your business create an image that gives your customers information about you.Pricing is a part of your image, too. Many entrepreneurs make the mistake of underpricing. They believe that the only way to attract customers is to have the lowest possible price. But this attitude can damage your business.First of all, when you underprice you won't be adequately compensated for your time. You must be able to make enough money to pay your bills an

So why would the movement we use to write be any less individual and unique?

    It isn’t.

The way you move when you write is every bit as unique as the way you move when you walk, run, turn, eat, talk, or any other body movement you make. And just as you can tell a great deal about a person when you meet them from their general body language, you can tell a great deal about them from their written body language too. The advantage of writing is that the body language is “frozen” in ink.

We all read body language, but those who have studied it and become experts can tell a great deal more. NLP, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, is one such method but there are many others. And in the sam
